A. WELDED PROCESS GAUGE AND DIAPHRAGM SEAL REDUCES COST AND LEAK POTENTIAL

An all-welded process gauge and diaphragm seal from AMETEK U.S. Gauge offers lower cost and reduced leak potential compared with separate gauge and seal. The new XR-81 combines the rugged SOLFRUNT® 1982 process gauge with stainless steel internals with an AMETEK M&G diaphragm seal. The seal is available with either 316L stainless steel or Hasselloy® C wetted parts. The all-welded design and seamless Bourdon tube provide fewer leak paths than competitive models. Standard units have a female top for instrument connection and ½ NPT male bottom for process connection. Additional connections and materials are available for a wide range of oil, gas and other chemical process applications including crude oil, molten sulphur, slurry oil, asphalt and high pressure boiler feed water. AMETEK U.S. Gauge is a unit of AMETEK, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electric motors with annual sales of more than $1.8 billion. B. DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE TRANSMITTER FOR DEEP WATER OIL & GAS APPLICATIONS
IS FOUR TIMES MORE SENSITIVE THAN TRADITIONAL TECHNOLOGY

The new SST3000 deep water differential pressure transmitter from AMETEK Solartron ISA offers the best performance characteristics in its class of instruments, the company reports. Its proprietary crystal sensor technology is four times more sensitive than traditional piezoresistive sensors used in similar products. Operating subsea to depths of 3000 meters (10,000 feet) and pressures up to 689 bar (10,000 psi), the transmitter is accurate to ±0.075% of span and stable to ±0.1 of upper range limit/year. Its fully welded duplex stainless steel housing is small and light, but durable enough for long-term use in the hostile subsea environment. It meets the highest international standards, including API 6A / ISO 10423, ASME IX, ISO 13628-6 and IEC 6100-4.The transmitter is particularly well suited for use in deepwater oil & gas fields such as those in the Gulf of Mexico, Campos Basin (Brazil) and off the west coast of Africa.

C. NEW LASER ANALYZER FOR ACCURATE
NON-CONTACT MEASUREMENT OF MOISTURE IN NATURAL GAS

Model 5100-NMC from AMETEK Process Instruments is rugged and compact

A tunable diode laser analyzer that directly measures water vapor concentration in natural gas without actually contacting the gas has been introduced by AMETEK Process Instruments. The Model 5100-NCM helps producers, pipeline operators and service companies assure long-term pipeline integrity by monitoring moisture levels in the gas stream. The non-contact feature maximizes reliability and durability by preventing chemical additives from fouling the instrument. With compact, fully-enclosed optics and sample conditioning, the analyzer features on-board moisture verification and all digital signal processing. Modbus and Ethernet analog and digital connectivity are included. The rugged compact unit is available in IP-65 and NEMA 4 enclosure. The analyzer has a limit of detection of 5PPMV and an operating range of 5 to 2500 PPMV. It is accurate to less than 2% of reading or ±4 PPMV, whichever is greater.
